Update...

I talked to the Sanford Rep this afternoon and found out that Sanford has decided to only pre sharpen the pencils in the sets. They ARE NOT going to sharpen the pencils that are sold in open stock. I'm actually happier to know that than the news that my piece will be printed in the 2009 calendar. What a relief....

I am thrilled to hear your news! I can handle the sets being sharpened, but not the open stock. I'll have to make a note of it on my blog too.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to stop by and let me know. As far as the uart 500 goes... It's probably because I'm used to using Wallis, and the 800 grit didn't give me the layers I was looking for. I do admit I've only played with the 800 once, on the sample that was given out in Seattle.

You'll be here in Tucson for a workshop soon, although I won't be at the workshop, I'm sure I'll see you sometime while your here.

Thanks again Linda.
